Effective Tennessee Service of Process

Why Use a Private Process Server?

As a Senior Paralegal, I serve process often. But, as in any law practice, there are many times when service of process is sent to an outside process server. Sometimes, especially when its a Sheriff’s Department, you are really in the dark about the status of service. Likely, you don’t even know when process is actually served unless you check with the court. You do not have to stay uninformed. Your client doesn’t have to call then wait for your support staff to check and call them back.

    Real Time Reporting of Service

Always know the status of service of process in your cases. Be ready to update your client. A good private process server communicates to you or your delegated staff members each attempt and successfully completed service. If you choose, your client can be added as a direct notification party upon successful service. Clients want to stay informed, and often, especially family law cases, the client will receive communication form the Defendant upon service. Keep yourself and your client informed.
